Dagmar Timmann (05, F02) elected to the review board of the DFG

ELH-PI Prof Dr Dagmar Timmann has been elected as one of twelve scientists to the review board of the German Research Foundation (DFG) at the University of Duisburg-Essen. As a representative of the “Review Board: 2.23 Neurosciences, Subject: 2.23-08 Cognitive and Systemic Human Neurosciences”, the neuroscientist will advise the DFG from 2024, for example on the review of proposals, the selection of reviewers and recommendations for funding decisions. The scientists were elected as members for the term of office from 2024 to 2028.

Dagmar Timmann heads the “Experimental Neurology” research group at the University Medical Centre Essen, which focuses on the physiology and pathophysiology of the human cerebellum. In her research, studies are regurlarly carried out at the ELH.
