Soon, the SFB 1280 will have a new MAGNETOM Terra 7T MRI scanner at its disposal, which will enable particularly high-resolution images of the human brain. The 20-tonne, 7.5-million-euro device is located at the Erwin-Hahn-Institute for Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Essen, where Project A05 is also based.
