ReproducibiliTEA “Pre-Prints”

The next meeting of the SFB 1280 ReproducibiliTEA Journal Club will deal with the pre-registration of your own scientific work as a pre-print.

What are pre-prints? How does it work? Why would you publish your paper as a pre-print? What are advantages and disadvantages?
