In summer semester 2019, the lecture “Cognition and Brain” will be offered.
Topics include emotions and attention, autobiographical and episodic memory, memory consolidation in sleep and reconsolidation. There will also be a series of lectures given by SFB 1280 members explaining our research methods and talking about clinical psychology, stress and pain and their effects on the brain.
Within “Cognition and Brain”, there is a multipart lecture series held by lecturers from our SFB 1280. Roland Pusch (Project Leader A01) starts on the 20th of May 2019 with the topic “Overview and Biopsychology” and an explanation of extinction research in our SFB 1280. This series will be continued by further lecturers: On the 27th of May 2019, Armin Zlomuzica (Project Leader A13) gives a lecture on clinical psychology. On the 03rd of June 2019, Christian Merz (Project Leader A09) talks about stress. Adriane Icenhour (Postdoc A10) lectures on pain on the 17th of June 2019.
