Congratulations on his re-election!

The German Psychological Society (DGPs) is an association of psychologists working in research and teaching in Germany. Prof. Dr. Christian Merz has been a member of the Ethics Committee since 2016 and an active member of several specialist groups, including General Psychology, Biological Psychology & Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. Since 2021, he has been involved as treasurer and section head of the Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology section – he has now been elected to this position for the third time in a row.

Prof. Dr. Christian Merz is an internationally renowned expert in cognitive and neuropsychology. His research focuses in particular on how stress hormones influence memory processes and learning.
