Congratulations on the appointment!

The news portal of the Erwin L. Hahn Institute reports:

On 5 September 2024, ELH-PI Prof Dr Ulrike Bingel was elected as a member of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE). As Vice Dean for Research, Ulrike Bingel succeeds Prof Dr Tienush Rassaf, who was elected Vice Dean for Knowledge and Technology Transfer.

The term of office of the newly elected Dean’s Office begins in October.

Ulrike Bingel is an internationally recognised specialist in pain therapy and research, whose scientific work focuses in particular on the influence of placebo and patient expectations on therapy.
