The Sonderforschungsbereiche 1567 (Virtuelle Lebenswelten) and 1280 (Extinction Learning) invite you to a joint film and VR evening. Under the title Screening Diversity – Diversity and Virtuality, we want to watch short films together on campus and try out selected VR applications. The productions offer diverse approaches to the topic: some address the possibility of becoming someone else or perceiving like someone else, some already refer to aspects of diversity in their production. In a conversation from different scientific perspectives, we would like to take a look at what realities appear in the virtual and what diversity the virtual promises and can deliver.

We are looking forward to welcoming you on campus after work and invite you to join us in watching, testing and discussing what we have seen and experienced under our VR goggles.

Screening Diversity is an event of the SFB 1567 Virtuelle Lebenswelten with the participation of the SFB 1280 as part of the first Hochschulforum “Diversity and Virtuality”. At the same time it is part of the RUB Diversity Day.
