Since January 13, 2020 Melanie Mark holds her professorship of Behavioral Neurobiology in the Department of General Zoology and Neurobiology at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. Her research focuses on the cerebellum and its influence on emotional processes. One focus is on aggression – the question why some people are more aggressive than others and how the serotonergic system influences this personality trait.
