Everyone is familiar with anxiety. People with anxiety disorders find their own behavior irrational, but are still unable to change it.

This is where the internationally renowned research of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Margraf, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at RUB, comes in. On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Jürgen Margraf will be awarded the Franz Emanuel Weinert Prize by the German Psychological Society (DGPS) for his outstanding research on anxiety and coping with it, as well as for his committed and effective communication of his research to the public.
