At the German Pain Congress in Mannheim (19 to 23.10.2021), Dr. Katharina Schmidt, together with Dr. Tobias Berding, Centre for Translational Neuro- & Behavioural Sciences & Clinic for Neurology at the University Hospital Essen, received the “Förderpreis für Schmerzforschung” of the Deutsche Schmerzgesellschaft e. V. in the field of clinical research for her work “The beneficial effect of positive treatment expectations on pharmacological migraine prophylaxis” published in PAIN, which was carried out within the framework of the Collaborative Research Centre “Treatment Expectation” (SFB/TRR 289).
