On July 28 from 13:00 to 16:30, researchers from the CRC 1280 and RUB’s IT.SERVICES will come together to give early career researchers an introduction to working with Git and Gitlab.
Excerpt from the Workshop description:
Version control systems facilitate effective collaboration between people. Although these tools are primarily used in software development, they are not limited to this use case. In the research process, different versions of files are created over time, which must be documented in the sense of sustainable research data management. Insome cases, this can be supported by git and Gitlab.
The goal of this workshop is to learn how to manage code, data, or even text so that you don’t ose track of versions and can share them with others.
