ReproducibiliTEA “Sample size justification”

Power analyses to determine the optimal sample size are ubiquitous in experimental research – but how to properly justify the sample size used? In the next session of the SFB 1280 ReproducibiliTEAs, different approaches to justify sample size will be discussed. The interactive Shiny app will be used to help better understand important cues and considerations.

This session will also include a (very) brief introduction to Octopus, a UK Research and Innovation-funded open publishing platform that enables researchers to publish any stage of their research without having to deal with the existing barriers to scientific publication.

The event will start on Tuesday, 20.08.2024 as usual at 14:00, either in IB/6-127 at RUB or online via zoom.
