Writing the results section of a manuscript can be a tedious, time-consuming and error-prone task. When results are copied from the statistics program into the manuscript, it is easy to make mistakes: From mixing up test statistics to incorrect rounding. Even published papers contain statistical reporting errors (see for example: Nuijten, M. B. et al. (2016). The prevalence of statistical reporting errors in psychology (1985-2013). Behavior research methods, 48, 1205-1226. https://doi.org/10.3758/s13428-015-0664-2).
There must be a better and simpler way. And there is! This is exactly what the next session in the SFB 1280 ReproducibiliTEA is all about. How to write fully reproducible manuscripts and how to say goodbye to copying and pasting.
There will also be pizza at the start of the new semester!
It starts on Tuesday, 08.04.2025 as usual at 14:00, either in IB/6-127 at the RUB or online via zoom.
