ReproducibiliTEA: “Harking, Sharking, & Tharking”

The next session in the SFB 1280 ReproducibiliTEA is entitled “Harking, Sharking and Tharking: Makig the case for post-hoc data analysis”. Which methods are hidden behind the names, why one undermines scientific integrity while the other could save it and what is the difference between them – all this is the topic of the next session.

The following paper provides the basis for the discussion:

Hollenbeck, J. R., & Wright, P. M. (2016). Harking, Sharking, and Tharking: Making the Case for Post Hoc Analysis of Scientific Data. Journal of Management, 43(1), 5-18. https://doi.org/10.1177/0149206316679487

It starts on Tuesday, 03.06.2025 as usual at 14:00, either in IB/6-127 at the RUB or online via zoom.
