The RUB news portal reports:
“The new, nationwide center has a foothold in the middle of the Ruhr region. The aim is to sustainably improve mental health.
Closing gaps in care, strengthening prevention services, sustainably improving therapies: With these goals in mind, the German Center for Mental Health (DZPG) will begin its work on May 1, 2023. The Research and Treatment Center for Mental Health (FBZ) at Ruhr-Universität Bochum is starting the two-year start-up phase with seven research projects. Special attention will be paid to the mental health of children and adolescents in urban areas.”
Partners of the RUB project include the two SFB 1280 locations of Philipps University Marburg and the Leibniz Institute for Occupational Research Dortmund (IfADo).
