At the end of 2017, the two long sought-after specialists took up their positions in the focus groups and moved to Bochum. Now they know the data of the Sonderforschungsbereich better than anyone else and invited to present their expertise and plans for the 17 subprojects. José Donoso, Carlos Dias and Franziska Labrenz together organized a great workshop. A kick-off of the practical cooperation for the Focus Groups; we are incredibly excited about the development.

In the next years, the two Focus Groups will search in depth for possible patterns in the data sum of all our work projects. F01 with focus on the data from learning studies in SFB 1280 and F02 with a view to the measurements resulting from MRI studies. The first trial runs worked as hoped; together with F01, A01 was able to solve problems and gain insights that the subproject alone could not have achieved.
